INNER HARMONY: Your Organ Orchestra

This is a story about the amazing things our organs inside our body do every day. Reading bedtime stories to my siblings for years made me realise how special children’s books can really be. I’ve always wanted to attempt to write my own, with an original concept. Therefore, through comparisons and colourful illustrations, Inner Harmony introduces young readers to their main organs as if they’re musicians playing together, combining my passions of science and music. It is a fully illustrated children’s book introducing our most vital organs: the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, kidneys, intestines and skin as if they are valuable members of an orchestra each working together. The storytelling is playful and brings basic human anatomy to life in a way that’s accessible to young readers (4-11), and it's the perfect late night educational story. I am very new to illustration and manuscript preparation, and hope to explore storytelling more in the future.
